Belfast Fitzwilliam Within Walking Distance of City's Attractions

The Belfast Fitzwilliam Hotel is ideally positioned for tourists taking a short summer break in Northern Ireland's capital city.

Located at the junction of Great Victoria Street and Grosvenor Road the Fitzwilliam adjoins Belfast's Grand Opera House and one of the stops on the Belfast hop on hop off bus tour is just metres from the Fitzwilliam's main entrance.

Many of Belfast's main tourist attractions are within easy walking distance of the Fitzwilliam Hotel including the Belfast Wheel and the City Hall while the restored Crown Liquor Saloon is just across Great Victoria Street.

Belfast's main shopping areas are also close by including the newly opened Victoria Centre with its wide choice of retail outlets, restaurants and multi-screen cinema. The Victoria Centre's biggest retail unit is occupied by a House of Frazer Department Store

Belfast Fitzwilliam Hotel is Just Yards from Europa Buscentre

The Fitzwilliam is just yards from the Europa Buscentre, the main city centre departure point for bus services to Belfast International and George Best Belfast City Airports.

It is also the departure point for daytours to destinations in both Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic.

The adjoining railway station is served by trains travelling to Bangor, Larne, Portadown, the North Coast and Derry.

Fitzwilliam Hotel in Belfast Offers Rooms, Suites and a Penthouse

The Fitzwilliam's 130 guestrooms are graded either ‘superior’, ‘executive’ or ‘king’. All have been arranged with beds facing a window to allow guests to enjoy views of Belfast. The hotel also has six studio suites and a penthouse apartment.

The Belfast Fitzwilliam which has a five star sister hotel in Dublin is under the control of General Manager Vincent O'Gorman.

He described Belfast as a 'vibrant, up-and-coming city' and said the aim of the new hotel is to "exude glamour, sophistication and impeccable customer service.

"We are looking forward to welcoming guests from the UK, Island of Ireland and all over the world," he added.

The Fitzwilliam is the latest in a number of hotels constructed in central Belfast to provide accommodation for the growing numbers of tourists visiting the city.
